We weren't sure this was a smart purchase to make but the price was excellent and we decided to take a chance. The stone turned out to be a beautiful blue, not at all purple, and it nicely matched Tanzanite earings we got from a local jeweler at a much higher price than we've seen on similar studs advertised by Finejewelers. The packaging was just right and the pendant arrived in a timely fashion. Very satisfied with the purchase and we'd buy again from Finejewelers via Amazon.
