My GF asked for a birthstone ring (December) for Christmas. After some research, I learned that tanzanite was added to one of the gemstone lists for the month of December. Blue Topaz and Blue Zircon are the other December gem stones. I also learned that tanzanite was discovered in 1967 (the year I was born). That said, I felt that tanzanite was the right choice. The delivery was quick (about a week), presentation was perfect (box and packaging), and the ring itself is really pretty. The color is actually a light purple and at some angles with different lighting situations the stone changes color with a brown/auburn flair. At the end of the day, my girlfriend LOVES her ring. I am a satisfied customer and may consider a tanzanite necklace in the future. Thanks.

I had recently purchased this ring as a birthday gift for my wife of six years. First off, I was amazed by the expedited shipping. Although I ordered standard shipping, the ring still arrived a week earlier than expected. I can tell that Finejewelers.com took pride in making and packaging this ring because it arrived wrapped in about five layers of protection. This ring was exactly was I imagined and as pictured on the website. When I gave it to my wife, she was at a loss for words (as titled above). The ring sparkles with such magnificence that she gets comments on it constantly wherever she goes. I will definitely buy from Finejewelers.com via amazon.com again. I have been looking for a tanzinite ring for awhile. This ring is beautiful. My stone is more light purple but it is beautiful on my hand. I got it in 14k gold. the gem is delicate and sparkles.
